Mary Janes Profile

This silhouette is of my Aunt Mary Jane as a teenager, and was done in 1958 during a family visit to Disneyland in California. Growing up, I remember seeing it hanging on the wall in my grandmother's house, and for some reason, it always stood out. In developing our company, and thinking about what our logo would be, this silhouette became the natural inspiration.

Our family started Mary Jane’s Cheesecakes in 2006, after years of saying “we should”. Mary Jane’s Country Cheesecakes are like no other. A simple, country influence, drives our product development and philosophy, and is all based on our original, an old family recipe, passed to me, by my Aunt Mary Jane. Our original cheesecake has been my favorite as far back as I can remember, and thirty years later, I’ve found few that compare. It’s been a long road, and a lot of work. We’ve experimented on many friends, and are finally able to bring you my favorite. Our line of “Country Cheesecakes” started with our original, and has grown to 7, along with 8 to 10 flavors that continue our country theme. We don’t use egg or flour in our dense, creamy filling, and pay a little extra attention to our crusts. We use some standard favorites like Graham Cracker and Oreo crumbs, but we’ve also searched the country for some of the best shortbread, biscotti, and gingerbread cookies that we could find. We’re always looking fo something new and different!
